What is dental floss and how to use it?

Dental floss is a cord of thin filaments of nylon or plastic  (Teflon or polyethylene), used to remove dental plaque and food from the teeth.

The floss is the tool for the correct cleaning  between tight teeth, with healthy  gum. It can be waxed or unwaxed and can be mounted on wire tensioning forks for easier maneuvering. Furthermore, there are also different "tastes", for example,  the taste of mint, chlorhexidine or fluorine.
